Ariana Granade All Set To Record The Award Winning Duet 'Beauty And The Beast' With John Legend

Fairytale makes up for a significant part of almost every girl's childhood. This year the pop sensation Ariana Grande seems en route to fulfilling her "Disney" dream.

According to MTV, Ariana Granade and John Legend are roped in to record for the live-action film adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast". The title track has been composed by the award-winning duo Alan Menken and Alan Ashman. The song besides being a part of the OST will also be included in the film as per the press release from Walt Disney Studios.

Both Grande and Legend confirmed the news by uploading their pics on various social media platforms during their recording session in the studio. The song was originally performed by Angela Lansbury and by Celine Dion and Peaso Bryson for the Disney soundtrack in 1991. It received many accolades like Academy Award, Golden Globe and a Grammy.

Now the onus is on the young duo of Grande and Legend. Reportedly all the songs from the animated classic will be featured in the new offering. Menken and lyricist Tim Rice have joined hands to create two original songs for the film including a ballad named "Forever More" performed by Steven's Beast and another chorus track of slow tempo "Days in the Sun".

As reported by  Variety, Disney's soundtracks chief Mitchell Leib brought in Ron Fair as the producer for the Ariana Grande sung soundtrack. Earlier they have worked together on yesteryear's smash hit "Pretty Woman". The music video will be directed by Grammy and MTV Award winner Dave Meyers and Walt Disney Studios pan to release it by March 10 this year.

Disney has a history of using pop stars like Christina Augilera and 98 Degrees to record tracks for their '98 film "Mulan" and the legendary Elton John for their famous animated flick "The Lion King". The immensely talented Ariana Grande already has four Grammy nominations and with her new soundtrack she will be eyeing the stars literally.
