New York's Museums and Galleries Are Open To Viewers

The city of New York's museums and galleries are all over the city so it is not hard finding one. The "1966 - 2016" exhibit is located in Greene Naftali; it starts at 6 pm and closes at 8:00 pm and viewers can check these 9 art events.

According to the Art News, it showcases the systems of power, enacted in a range of attitudes and forms in changing political climates, in America and in Europe. Queerness, feminism and other political concerns relating to bodies is the main topic of the "Shabby But Thriving" which opens in New Museum, opens at 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. 

The "Cuban Socialist Posters from the 1970s" opens at Miguel Abreu Gallery, open until 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. showcases posters from the 1970s, that some in retrospect refer to as a "dark period" of Cuban culture.While "Acts of Intimacy: The Erotic Gaze in Japanese Photography" opens at The Walther Collection, opens at 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. showcases the role of eroticism and sexual subcultures in Japanese society.

If you want some unique art, Katharina Grosse opens at Gagosian Gallery that starts at 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. It only showcases selected works from several interconnected suites of untitled paintings produced during the last twelve months, according to Time Out.

Outsider Art Fair opens at Metropolitan Pavilion, showcases a marathon reading of selected quotes by the former president called "The Barack Obama Readings." While among the fair's other exhibitors are New York's Jack Hanley Gallery and Philadelphia's Fleisher/Ollman Gallery.

"Piss and Vinegar" opens at New York Academy of Art, opens at 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. The New York Academy of Art has brought together five 1960s-era male artists and five contemporary female artists, all united by their shared subversive sensibilities and wit. 

"I'm Nobody! Who are you? The Life and Poetry of Emily Dickinson" open at the Morgan Library & Museum, opens at 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. It was showcased with twenty-four poems in various draft states, with matching audio stops.
