ABC’s Summer Drama Series 'Somewhere Between' To Star Paula Patton

The new drama series "Somewhere Between" will launch this coming summer of 2017. Paula Patton will star as the leading actress of the thriller drama series equipped with a twist of a supernatural theme which will set to be released with 10 episodes.

The series was written by Stephen Tolkin which is based on a Korean format. Tolkin is also the co-creator of "Taxi Brooklyn" and "The Legend of the Seeker." "Somewhere Between" was produced by Canadian Production Company Thunderbird Entertainment under with ITV Studios America.

The story revolves around a loving mother and a superstar news producer named Laura Price (Paula Patton), Variety confirmed. Laura is actually not paranoid, Serena her daughter is getting to be killed. She knows exactly when, where and how her daughter will be murdered but she doesn't know why is her daughter will be murdered and she has no idea who the murderer is. Despite her awareness and safeties to keep her daughter from the killer, her daughter got murdered eventually. That's her mission to get the justice, know who's the killer was and get him/her pays the price.

The drama murder mystery series was filmed and shot in Vancouver, Canada where Thunderbird Entertainment was based. ITV Studios Global Entertainment was in charge of the series distribution internationally. Along with Stephen Tolkin, Ivan Fecan and Joseph Braido were the series executive producers, according to Deadline.

This leading role puts Paula Patton in her first ever regular series on Television. She was spotted in "Mission Impossible" by ABC Network. Paula was also cast as the leading role in another drama entitled "Runner," which was not selected to be aired on the network. She was also offered by Primary Wave, Sloane Offer, and CAA.

Along with the new drama series "Somewhere Between," ABC has recently released their new medical drama "The Good Doctor" which is also a Korean based story.
