‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ Director Chad Stahelski Wants To Take James Bond 25 Movie

Actor Daniel Craig might not come back to do another "James Bond" movie but Sony Pictures wants him to. Even if there will be another James Bond movie, director Sam Mendes claimed that he is not also returning to do the film. "John Wick" director Chad Stahelski was interested in taking the job.

According to Movie Web, Chad Stahelski the director of Lionsgate's "John Wick" and the upcoming sequel "John Wick: Chapter 2" is interested in filling the seats of Sam Mendes. In any way, there are similarities of James Bond franchise and John Wick franchise in terms of action scenes.

"John Wick: Chapter 2" director Chad Stahelski stated that he is interested in directing a "James Bond" movie in the future if producers would let him do it. He added that if he's going to direct the movie, it will be a reinvention with a peculiar angle shift. "James Bond" franchise has gone from serious to being funny, he wants a different wacky version of it and if it clicks to the viewers then for him it's a huge opportunity.

"No movie franchise that can stand against "James Bond" in terms of its ability to adapt from decade to decade," said "John Wick: Chapter 2" director Chad Stahelski.

Director Chad Stahelski pointed out that the "James Bond" franchise has been through different emphasis, from the serious aura of Sean Connery to the goofiness of Roger Moore along with the modernization of "James Bond 007" Daniel Craig. Actor Daniel Craig and director Chad Stahelski will be a perfect duo for the franchise, according to LRM Online.

Chad Stahelski has proven his abilities in directing for "John Wick" and "John Wicked: Chapter 2," clearly that these two movies were big hits in the box office. As for the upcoming "James Bond 25," Chad Stahelski could be a change of pace for the "James Bond" franchise.
