The upcoming "Narcos" season 3 debuts were expected to be aired within this year. It can't be denied the hype of the fans as the series continue with its third installment. However, information about the new season's plot is rare to be found.

"Narcos" Season 3 will focus on the Mexican drug kingpin Joaquin El Chapo Guzman after Pablo Escobar Gaviria was shot and dead in the previous season 2 on the roof of his apartment. Mstars News noted that the showrunners are preparing to focus more on the Cali Cartel.

Eric Newman was interviewed by Hollywood Reporter, he was asked about how many seasons it will take for El Chapo's timeline in the TV series "Narcos." The actor claimed that El Chapo's timeline was depending on where the showrunner wants to start either Mexican timeline or the series timeline.

"Narcos" Season 3 will also feature new faces in their cast line up such as Miguel Angel Silvestre, Matt Whelan, and Michael Stahl-David where they play as the new DEA agents. Also, Arturo Castro will fill the role of David Rodriguez which is the son of Miguel, one of the Cali Cartel's founders. Other cast additions include Kerry Bishe as Christina which is an American woman with a Colombian husband involved in the Cali cartel.

Meanwhile, "Narcos" Netflix star Pedro Pascal was currently filming his scenes in the upcoming third installment. The 41-year-old actor was spotted last week on a film set in Cartagena, Colombia. According to from the people nearby the film scene, Pedro Pascal's character Javier Pena was running down a suspect and had him arrest, according to Just Jared.
