‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Spoilers & Update: Villain Thanos’ Big Evil Plan Revealed

By Ralphy Bonn Sim on Feb 15, 2017 11:32 AM EST

Marvel Studios recently revealed the secrecy behind the scenes of the new "Avengers: Infinity War." Last week, fans visited Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), and the new cast Tom Holland as Spider-Man. There, co-writer Stephen McFreely revealed something about the villain Thanos and his plans.

Nothing to worry about, no major spoiler for "Avengers: Infinity War" have been said by the writer. But just simple facts of ideas of what Thanos was trying to be done in ambiguous terms. The revelation came from the courtesy of a Doctor Strange Blu-ray/DVD release.

As reported by Screen Rant, Stephen McFreely stated that Thanos' goal was to reboot and rebalance the universe as what he has seen. By the time Thanos will figure out that Infinity Stones could be the way to achieve his goals, he will do everything to reunite the Stones in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity Wars."

The most interesting about Stephen McFreely's statement for "Avengers: Infinity Wars" is that he apparently avoids using the word death. Mistress Death is a female character and a personification of the abstract idea of mortality. The villain Thanos was obsessed with Mistress Death and in order to impress her, the villain will now clear all the Marvel Universe after bringing together all of the Infinity Gems.

As for now, it is unclear wether Thanos will use his methods for his plans to balance the marvel universe in the "Avengers: Infinity War" or what's the definition of an unbalanced in his mind. But it seems that Thanos has a plan to clean and reboot the universe the way he wanted to be.

Mistress Death has not been confirmed in any Marvel movies, according from the reports of Movie Web. Although "Avengers: Infinity Wars" and another untitled Avengers 4 movie are now currently shooting in Atlanta in a back-to-back massive production for the entire year of 2017.

"Avengers: Infinity Wars" will be directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, the lads who also directed "Captain America: Civil War" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier." The cast line up for "Avengers: Infinity Wars" stars Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Josh Brolin, Sebastian Stan, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Samuel L. Jackson, Paul Bettany, Mark Ruffalo, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Zoe Saldana, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Brie Larson, Benedict Wong, Robert Downey Jr. and Vin Diesel. "Avengers: Infinity Wars" was set to hit big screens this May 4, 2018, and the untitled Avengers 4 was set to be released on May 3, 2019.
