'Significant Other' Previews at Broadway on Valentine's Day

As a special Valentine's treat for Broadway fans, Roundabout Theatre Company's Off-Broadway hit, "Significant Other" previewed on February 14, prior to its official opening at the Booth Theatre on March 2, 2017.

The tickets for this one-day-only box office offer were priced at $50. "Significant Other" is the Broadway debut of playwright Joshua Harmon as well as director Trip Cullman. The cast of the show includes Gideon Glick, John Behlmann, Sas Goldberg, Rebecca Naomi Jones, Lindsay Mendez, Luke Smith and Barbara Barrie.

According to a report on PlayBill, the team organized a special Singles Awareness Day Party following the first preview. With this, audience present for the 8 pm show met the cast and crew of the production at Bourbon Street Bar & Grill.

Broadway described "Significant Other" as a show that revolves around the rapid change of relationships. It narrates the story of Jordan Berman and his friends who try to find their significant others. A slick of life, the show has everything from honesty to humor to reality.

The creative team includes choreography by Sam Pinkleton, costume design by Kaye Voyce, lighting design byJaphy Weideman, scenic design by Mark Wendland, and sound design by Daniel Kluger. "Significant Other" is presented by Jeffrey Richards, Rebecca Gold, Ronald Frankel, Spencer Ross, Ira Pittelman & Tom Hulce, Mark S. Golub & David S. Golub, Caiola Productions, Adam S. Gordon, Patty Baker, CandyWendyJamiePaula Productions, Gabrielle Palitz, Terry Schnuck, In Fine Company, Cody Lassen, Aaron Priest, Darren P. DeVerna & Jeremiah J. Harris, Will Trice, Shubert Organization and Roundabout Theatre Company.

The official debut of "Significant Other" began at Roundabout atre Company in 2012. This was the second play at the theater following the premiere of Joshua Harmon's play "Bad Jews." Now, "Significant Other" has become the second play from Roundabout to be transferred to the Broadway after Stephen Karam's Tony Award-winning play, "Humans."
