Google Pixel Watch Via LG; Android Play, Crown Button, GPS, Compact Design More Likely

Google recently launched the new Android Wear 2.0 software update on two watches with more watches expected to get the update. However, Google is yet to reveal a flagship Android watch. However, Google continues to demonstrate an ideal Android experience year by year.

After Google launched the Nexus phones, the Pixel lineup took things up a notch with a more polished design. It should be noted that the Pixel phones are included in the new wave of Google-designed, engineered and branded products along with the Chromecasts and Google Home. In the meantime, Google was able to collaborate with LG on their newest Android Wear Watches, LG Watch Sport and LG Watch Style.

However, Google is yet to confirm whether or not the Pixel lineup would include an Android watch in the near future. Currently, Google sports Android Wear smartwatches that are made by other companies. Several of these have Android Pay, a heart rate tracker and built-in GPS as well as access to the internet without syncing a phone.

Google may opt to create a Pixel watch that would consolidate all the features in the new LG wearables in a tight design. The watch is expected to come with Android Pay, a new side crown button, optional GPS and design compact. It is said that the Android Wear's software is better than the Apple Watches. However, the latter still sells more in the market with a more design success, CNET reported.

Meanwhile, Google is believed to have a solid clock app on the Android. Note that the app comes pre-installed on a number of devices and is also available on the Play Store. Recently, Google updated the app to v5.0 with layout tweaks and more informative time zones, Android Police reported.

Google Clock app v5.0 now has a bolder app font and text-only stopwatch buttons and timer. Moreover, the top icons are now labeled and are spaced evenly across the top. The app also features time zones with hours ahead and behind and a drop-down style setting instead of a pop-up menu. Watch Google Smartwatches here:
