Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is the company's new iteration that kicked off 2017 with its release in India. The successor of last year's Redmi Note 3, the device has been applauded for its battery life and performance, providing the best value product in its category.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's Snapdragon 625, when compared to Redmi Note 3's Snapdragon 650, is believed to land up behind the previous model based on its specifications. Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 4's processor carries 8x Cortex-A53 cores on the 14nm fabrication process and claims that the setup should be grouped as performance and efficiency combination, the 8 cores were able of reaching the 2.0GHz peak clock speed. This means that the clusters are implemented homogeneously.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, meantime, comes with an upgrade to its battery life, which is an edge over the Redmi Note 3. When tested on Work 2.0, the Redmi Note 4 gives out 16h 41m of battery life at lowest brightness, as it continues on with 8h 15m of life at maximum brightness. On work 1,0, however, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gives out the highest with a life of 19h 15m at minimum and 9h 31m at maximum brightness, XDA reported.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi Redmi 5 specifications and images have reportedly leaked recently on the Tenaa site. A smartphone with model number MAE 136 is reported to have passed through the Chinese certification site, and reports now claim that the particular device is likely the Redmi Note 5.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 design and key specifications are said to be provided by the Tenaa listing, revealing a metal build with rounded edges for its design, including a fingerprint sensor at the back. A camera is also seen placed on the smaprtphone's top edge, with its flash beside it, and the capacitive navigation buttons are said to be placed below the display in the front, Gadgets reported. Watch Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Overview & Impressions here:
