Inspired by computer painting programs, Benson applies such way into a physical canvas. She produces works through a process involving spontaneity and improvisation. This also certainly applies to her works to be displayed at Trudy Benson Solo Show.

For this upcoming Trudy Benson Solo Show, she explained herself that she persisted on adjusting the same material as before. In keeping with her inspiration from Breer film, Benson used sprayed as a background to show an old movie ambiance. She brushed acrylic paint and rolled oil paint on top of it which result in existing of time and space dimension.

Benson's painting has to be directly witnessed. It cannot be digitally observed as she disclosed that the surface from a painting is very important to her. Physical painting gives a certain sensation itself as she confirmed. Therefore, Trudy Benson Solo Show is a worthwhile event to visit.
