'Hidden Figures' News Update: Katherine Johnson To Be Part On A Lego Set

The fictional superhero "Batman" were released its wooden toys film "The Lego Batman Movie" last month. However, the "Hidden Figures" were working on it that gives Katherine Johnson's her Lego version as part of the Women in NASA who is in the real-life heroine.

On Yahoo reports, the Lego groups announced on Tuesday the set of Lego NASA Women that will be included such as the very first woman in space, Mae Jemison and the leading female astronaut in space, Sally Ride. The presence of Nancy Grace Roman, astronomer and the computer scientist, Margaret Hamilton will not be missing on the Lego set.

The inspirational movie of NASA woman "Hidden Figures" was intentionally made to honor their heroic action for bringing its success from the past into the present. Meanwhile, the Lego idea was made by Maia Weinstock, an American science writer, and editor to give honor to NASA's women for its contributions that have been hardly unknown.

Maia Weinstock submitted her idea to the Lego after it gathered with 10,000 votes of support from the public and said it was a "dream come true" that had won. The Lego Ideas competition were done twice a year when fans proposed to make it into production.

Moreover, the highlights of Oscars Sunday night was Katherine Johnson's appearance in company with the "Hidden Figures" cast that gained standing ovation, according to Deadline. The Theodore Melfi film was nominated for its Best Picture and the first film to discuss the heroic figures of NASA women.

The film "Hidden Figures" will deal with the extraordinary women that work for NASA in 1960's. It was teamed with a gifted black women mathematicians such as Dorothy Vaughn, played by Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae as Mary Jackson and one of the Lego figure Katherine Johnson that to be played by Taraji Henson.
