Emma Watson Sexy Photos Hacked: 'Beauty And The Beast' Actress Is Taking Legal Action After Stolen Private Photos

Taking private photos on your own with your favorite gadgets to capture a good shot may risk your personal identity. Emma Watson becomes the recent celebrity victim of hackers, who seem to find enjoyment in stealing private photos and releasing them on the Internet.

Watson is not going to back down and she will not let the bullies get away with their distasteful acts. Emma Watson is taking legal action after her private images were stolen by hackers, Telegraph reported. 

Emma Watson's representative gave a statement saying that the photo was taken a year ago and have been stolen from the actress. Her rep also added that the photo was when the actress was fitting her clothes with her stylist.

It was clarified that Watson's photos were not nudes as what rumors have been claiming. It remains unclear how the pictures were stolen from the actress or who made the first post. 

Emma Watson already received a threat in 2014 by an anonymous person saying that she will be the next target and even created an online clock for the star. It was expected that by the end of the countdown, the Internet will be filled with Watson's nude photos from trolls at 4Chan, Gawker initially reported. However, this said countdown turned out to be a hoax. 

UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson discussed this incident in 2015 when she was giving a speech on gender equality. The "Beauty and the Beast" actress was aware that it was just a hoax or a prank done to get her attention.

"I knew it was a hoax. I knew the pictures didn't exist, but I think a lot of people that were close to me knew gender equality was an issue but didn't think it was that urgent, that it was a thing of the past," Emma Watson said at that time.

Emma Watson's private photo hack controversy comes on the heels of receiving backlash from netizens after her recent revealing photo shoot with Vanity Fair.
