"Prison Break," Fox's highly popular serial drama that run from 2005 to 2009, is set to take the world by storm once again with the comeback season finally confirmed this year. One of the highlights of "Prison Break" Season 5 is the fact that Michael Sconfield (Wentworth Miller) is very much alive, even after the character was shown to have died when the original series wrapped up. For the fans, the revival might just be the perfect timing for Michael to be reunited with the only love of his life, Dr. Sara Tancredi (Sara Wayne Callies). Unfortunately, the much-awaited reunion will not be handed to the couple on a silver platter.

The ending scene of Season 4 shows Sara and her then infant son visiting Michael's grave. Apparently, Michael, knowing that he was dying from a terminal disease, had sacrificed himself for his wife to break out of prison. As the premise of "Prison Break" Season 5 will explain how Michael was able to come back from the dead, the viewers are also interested to see Sara's reaction once she learns about her husband's fake death. Furthermore, Michael returning to his family will not be easy now that Sara has re-married.

Deadline caught the cast of "Prison Break" Season 5 at the show's TCA session last week, where the actors shared a few teasers regarding the plot. "Prison Break" newcomer Mark Feuerstein, who plays the role of Jacob Ness, explained how his character will be intertwined with the lives of Sara and Michael.

"In that time while he was presumed dead, he stalked her and fell in love with her and we got married. She had no idea he was anywhere and suddenly he's alive and somewhere tension ensues," Feuerstein said. Furthermore, series creator Paul T. Scheuring mentioned that Michael in "Prison Break" Season 5 might be a different person compared to the same character last seen by the viewers seven years ago.

"Michael doesn't come out of the gates comprised," Scheuring teased during the session. "Is he Michael? Is this the Michael we knew all along?" Digital Spy that his character has been up to doing no good for the last 7 years before the events of "Prison Break" Season 5. Given Michael's current state of mind and his morality being put into question, there is a possibility that his reunion with Sara will end up bittersweet.

Nevertheless, Michael still thinks about Sara and their son as per the latest trailer for "Prison Break" Season 5. The fans will know more about the fate of Michael and his family as Fox confirms "Prison Break" returning to primetime on April 4.
