Viewers witnessed a shocking tragedy in the last night's episode BBC soap EastEnders. It showed a double-decker bus crashing into the Albert Square's famous market damaging the railway bridge-with Shirley, Sylvie and Tina Carter at risk.

According to Mirror UK, fans are fearing this storyline might end in life loss. The report also quoted a couple of fans' reaction on Twitter, which goes, "Anyone else thinks the train is also going to crash tomorrow?" while another added: "Bus crash into tube bridge with the tube train coming..." "Now the bus has crashed into the bridge, odds on being a train crash tomorrow too!?"

The show is now being slammed for its "insensitive" bus crash soon storyline similar to the Berlin Christmas markets terror attack. In the episode, the bus drive suffers a cardiac arrest and slams the bus into the market causing damages.

Meanwhile, more characters are in range due to the crash including Shakil Kazemi, Louise Mitchel, Bex Fowler, Keegan, Denise Fox, Carmel Kazemi, Martin Fowler and Donna Hubbard. Sun Online also quoted a spokesperson for EastEnders saying "EastEnders is a fictional drama and the crash in tonight's episode was not based on any real-life event. We are always mindful of the content of our episodes."

The next episode is likely to focus on the after effects of the bus crash with the residents coming forward to help the victims. However, the situation goes out of control totally leading to more chaos and misery. BBC's team is tight lipped about the storyline as they want the next few developments to be a total surprise for fans.

Who do you think will be in danger? While fans are hoping for the safety for most of these characters, it wouldn't be much of a surprise if one of them are killed off.
