The "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" has already made its way into the London theaters and the show has been grabbing all the prestigious awards this year. From the What's On Stage awards to the Critics' Circle, looks like no one can stop the Harry Potter this time.

The "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" won three major awards at the U.K. Critics Circle Theatre Awards- John Tiffany won the "Best Director", Christine Jones was the "Best Designer", and Anthony Boyle won the "Jack Tinker Award for Most Promising Newcomer". According to Playbill, the ceremony was hosted by Mark Shenton, chairman of the drama section of Critics Circle and London.

"Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is created jointly by J.K Rowling, Jack Thorne, and John Tiffany. However, WizardsAndWhatNot opined that the awards are bit confusing as the stage version of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is portrayed completely different in books. Interestingly, the production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child "is actually a mystery for many; even though it was released in July 2016, it hasn't really given an insight of what the production really looks like.

Other important awards included "Groundhog Day" as the "Best Musical", Charlene James as the "Most Promising Playwright" for "Cuttin'" which is bankrolled jointly by Young Vic, The Yard Theatres, Royal Court, and  London, Birmingham Rep and Sheffield Crucible. Glenda Jackson took away the "Best Shakespearean Performance" for enacting the title role as King Lear at the Old Vic, while Stephen Dillane was named the "Best Actor" for his role in Faith Healer at the Donmar Warhouse, and Billie Piper won the "Best Actress" for playing the title role in Yerma at the Young Vic. Express UK quoted Billie Piper's acceptance speech as "really enjoyable." He added that he is chuffed as getting "reward for something we love is absolutely rare."

We hope that the Harry Potter fans in the United States can enjoy the visual extravaganza soon in Broadway.
