'Suicide Squad' Update" Mel Gibson Courted By Warner Bros As The Director Of DCEU Sequel

After the massive success of the movie film "Suicide Squad", DC comics are planning for its sequel. Moreover, Warner Bros were trying to court Mel Gibson to direct the "DC Extended Universe."

The filmmaker, Mel Gibson have been boycotted on Hollywood for 10 years after being arrested for his anti-Semitic comments and drunk driving. But the "Braveheart" director made his surprising comeback and was even nominated for Academy Awards, claimed by Independent.

New rumors popped out regarding the "Blood Father" lead actor was said to be the new director of "Suicide Squad 2." Although, The Hollywood Reporter said that there is no official offer for Mel Gibson to direct any movies on Warner Bros.

Meanwhile, there is some source saying that Mel Gibson was engaged in a movie. While the entertainment company was looking forward on the other director such as "Suicide Squad" director, David Ayer and Daniel Espinosa on 2017 film "Life."

Mel Gibson was asked by Warner Bros for the another superhero film "Batman vs Superman." But the 61-year old actor just simply laughs and ridiculously answered a difference between real superheroes and comic book superheroes which don't find his interest.

However, Mel Gibson already won as the best director on his film "Braveheart" and even proclaimed as best picture in 1996 Academy Award. While he was also nominated as the best director in his latest film "Hacksaw Ridge."

He was also the director of 2004 film "The Passion of the Christ" and 2006 film "Apocalypto." But still, Mel Gibson had no confirmation on the said rumors.

David Ayer film "Suicide Squad" was played by some artist such as Margot Robbie, Jared Leto, William Smith and Cara Delevingne who portray as the supervillain. Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara, Viola Davis and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje was also present in the movie.

The "Suicide Squad" have gained $745 million worldwide after it had bad reviews. Although there are no reports on the characters.
