Many football fans are excited to see their favorite teams battle it out in the upcoming Super Bowl LI. However, the annual Super Bowl has also become the event to release the latest trailer of the upcoming huge Hollywood films. For one, Sony and Marvel's summer movie, "Spider-Man: Homecoming," will have a special Super Bowl spot during the game.

As reported by Deadline, two feature films from Marvel Studios are having a special appearance in Super Bowl LI. The fresh trailer for "Spider-Man: Homecoming," as well as "Guardians of the Galaxy Vo. 2," is hitting the stadium's viewing screens. It is no surprise that Super Bowl LI has a spot for the new Spidey movie, given that the latest "Spider-Man" reboot is among the most anticipated superhero movies of 2017.

Aside from the Marvel movies, the Super Bowl event is expected to flash the new trailers for " Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales," "Fifty Shades Darker," "Baywatch," "Fate of the Furious," "The Mummy" and "Transformers: The Last Knight." Marvel's rival company, DC, will also have its share of the event with the trailers for "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League."

Meanwhile, Tom Holland, who plays the teenage superhero, spilled a few details about his character in "Spider-Man: Homecoming." At the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017, the actor revealed that while Peter Parker is a proud nerd, he will be having troubles in understanding the functionalities of his Spidey suit.

To recall in "Captain America: Civil War," Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) provided him with an upgraded Spider-Man costume, but the technology behind it might be a little too advanced for the high school superhero. As reported by Movie Web, Parker's new bestfriend, Ned Leeds, who is likely one of a few people knowing his secret, will help him out with the suit.

Regarding the villains of "Spider-Man: Homecoming," the first official trailer released by Marvel Studios gave the fans a glimpse of the movie's primary villain, The Vulture, also known as Adrian Toomes (Michael Keaton). However, Keaton's character may actually be the beginning of the Sinister Six formation, a team of villainous individuals united by the same goal. According to Melty, other characters in the movie such as The Tinkerer (Michael Chernus) and Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) may be joining The Vulture and officially form the Sinister Six. It is possible that the anti-hero group will be featured in the next "Spider-Man" sequels.

As for now, the excitement for Holland's solo feature movie as the new web-slinging superhero grows by the day. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be out in the cinemas worldwide on July 7, 2017.
