Japan Iconic Painter Takashi Murakami Wants to Paint For Supreme, Louis Vuitton Collection Details Here!

Takashi Murakami, a world renowned painter from Japan, said he wants to paint for the famous brand Supreme and Louis Vuitton and do a capsule art collaboration with them. Takahashi is a Japanese contemporary artist who works in fine arts media as well as commercial. He was highly regarded for his ability and talent to showcase both high and low forms of art. Some of his work includes painting, sculpting, fashion designing, merchandise planning and animation. He is also the founder of "Kaikai Kiki Co., Ltd.," in which he manages the careers of several younger artist.

On an interview last week with GQ Style, he admittedly said that he love the upcoming collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Supreme. He even stated that he wants to put his own art character on on the bags. Takashi is also known for his deep connections with the famous artists in the music industry. An example of this is his art collaboration with Pharell Williams for "Complexcon", a yearly event by Complex Magazine which showcases streetwear and sneakers and arts. He is also a friend of Kanye West and other rappers. 

Aside from being an artist, Takashi is also a collector of iconic bags made by high-end fashion designers. With his obsession with it, he had paved his way into having his own bag for Louis Vuitton brand. The whole collection was called "Multicolore monogram" which was first released in Spring/Summer 2003. He was called upon by Marc Jacobs to redesign the whole collection during that quarter by applying his own personal touch of art on every accessory. He used his favorite vivid color palette and playful style according to Highsnobiety.

To date, there are now current news if Takashi Murakami will have an art collaboration with Louis Vuitton again. Although he stated his intent, his fans could only hope it will soon happen. His work of art is indeed striking and very innovative.
