Violinist Joshua Bell Releases 360 Degree Virtual Experience for Classical Music Concert
Violinist Joshua Bell has recently converted his work into a latest product innovation to provide convenience in enjoying classical music. Working together with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Bell release a new 360-degree virtual featuring classical music performance that can be seen from every angles. Thus, the classical music now can be enjoyed through Playstation VR headset to see a real studio acoustic performance.
According to The Violin Channel, Bell explained that it is such a great offered given to him by Sony. As a gamer addict himself and have tried the sophistication of virtual experience, he had long wanted to utilize this technology to introduce classical music to the masses. And Sony fortunately proposed such great opportunity for him.
As it is stated in the Strad, Bell keenly aware that many people either who like classical music or want to listen to classical music often lose their chance to physically watch a classical concert. Therefore, through this virtual experience, Bell provide the fans a classical music which is exactly like the way it is in the concert hall leisurely. By this virtual experience, the fans will be able to see Bell perform with his violin closer and clearer.
Because of its sophistication, virtual experience can also be used as a medium for learning the violin, but Bell himself revealed that it might be a little difficult to do while wearing virtual headset. For that reason, Bell is very grateful to Sony for realizing this brilliant idea. By performing the best as possible, Sony change it to be something incredible and can be enjoyed by many people with pleasure.
This advanced work is now available on Playstation VR. As quoted by USA Today, Bell hopes someday the chance will come for him to play directly in front of the audience as he did for this virtual experience.© 2018 The Classical Arts, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
