Beyonce Skips Coachella 2017 on Doctor's Advise, Fans Ask for Refund
Pop queen Beyonce will be giving this year's Coachella festival a miss due to her pregnancy woes. The star is pregnant with twins. It is heard that the doctor has advised the singer to skip the performance but she will be heading for the same festival in 2018.
The Columbian reported that Beyonce's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice revealed the news to The Associated Press. They have also clarified that the pop star had to pull out of the event under her doctor's order.
The statement further revealed that the doctors have asked the star to refrain from any rigorous activities in the coming months. And as a result, Beyonce decided to forgo the music and arts festival this year.
While fans are already disappointed over the news, an insider has revealed to Hollywood Life that the star is really heartbroken as she was planning an epic performance at the event. The 'Lemonade' singer has gone weak and facile after the saddening news. There are also reports that some fans are even asking for a refund after the star pulled out.
However, the same report states that Bey's hubby Jay-Z is cheering her up by saying that there is nothing better than bringing two lives into this world. Sources further said that for Jay, the most important thing is Beyonce's healthy pregnancy. However, the decision seems to be driving Bey crazy and she is bored as well.
Interestingly, Beyonce performed with her baby bump at the Grammys a few weeks back. Now, the big question is who will be replacing the star at Coachella. The two-weekend festival in Indio, Calif already has big names like Friday headliner Radiohead on April 14 and 21, and Sunday's headliner Kendrick Lamar on April 16 and 23. Beyonce was supposed to make the appearance on April 15 and 22.
A lot of names are in the speculation as a suitable replacement for the star--from Bey's hubby Jay-Z to Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and even Adele. Few online sites have even started to bet on the replacement.© 2019 The Classical Arts, All rights reserved. Do not reproduce without permission.
