"House of Cards" season five's release date is released together with the teaser trailer. And swirling on the internet is news about the new cast members and rumors.

According to Den of Geek, Netflix chooses the inauguration day to launched the teaser trailer that announced the release date of the Season five of the series "House of Cards". The Season five of "House of Card" will be released on May 30.

The teaser was released on the official Twitter page of "House of Cards" with the caption we make the terror. The teaser shows an inverted flag of the U.S.A which gave an ominous feeling while voices of children are reciting the pledge of allegiance of United States of America.

Then the released date was shown. Also in season five, Campbell Scott and Patricia Clarkson will be added to the cast members as Netflix confirmed at a press event in New York according to Trusted Reviews.

Campbell Scott has appeared as German nobleman on "Royal Pains," with roles in "Damages" and "The Amazing Spider-Man." While the actress Patricia Clarkson has appeared in "Shutter Island", in TV series like "Six Feet Under," also played as Tammy Swanson in "Parks and Recreation".

It is not announced what roles they are playing in the "House of Cards" but they are likely to appear as aides. Ever since Beau Willimon left the show last year rumors about the cancellation of the series began but Frank and Claire are going back.

Writers Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson have stepped up as showrunners. Last season, Frank and Claire are planning to have a war in order to distract the people from the reporter Tom Hammerschmidt's Washington Herald story.

Michael Kelly, who plays Doug Stamper, the trusted Underwood aide and lackey also hinted about the demise of a central character. Fans are speculating that Frank might die because of his health deteriorating and Claire's ambition to seized control from her husband.
