On March 21, Netflix will release two Dave Chappelle stand-up specials. Netflix dropped a teaser trailer earlier this month that shows Dave Chappelle tackles controversial topics like ISIS to O.J. Simpsons.

According to Rolling Stone, the stand-up specials are the unseen scenes from his Dave Chappelle: The Ages of Spin filmed in March 2016 at the Los Angeles Palladium and Dave Chappelle: Deep in the Heart of Texas filmed in April 2015 at the Austin's Moody Theater. The teaser trailer highlights Chappelle joking about his encounter with O.J. Simpsons and Nicole Brown Simpsons.

Then the trailer showed the previously unseen footages from two Chappelle comedy shows and clicking thumbs down on ISIS gruesome YouTube videos. Chappelle also tackles the issue of what kill more African-American people than anything, not the police and terrorism but salt.

The song A Tribe Called Quest's "We the People" soundtracked the trailer. The shows will be simultaneously released by Netflix and the third special will be released later this year.

Chappelle agreed that comedy has a role to play under Trump but Chappelle also urges the comedians to stop making the same Donald Trump jokes, according to The Huffington Post. The famous comedian still believes that the state of comedy today is strong and healthy, mentioning the return of some of his favorites like Jon Stewart and Chris Rock to the game despite his concern about Trump's newfound power.

Last year in November, in response to Trump's surprise win, Chappelle delivered an epic opening monolog at the first episode of Saturday Night Live after the election. After saying that America actually elected an internet troll as their president, he also recounted a recent visit to the White House for a BET event that made him feel hopeful about the country's direction.

He is wishing Donald Trump good luck and added that he will give him a chance and he is hopeful that Trump will give them a chance too.
