‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 7 Recap: Alex O'Loughlin To Leave After Season 8; Casts Bid Goodbye to Masi Oka

Masi Oka, the "Hawaii Five-0's" Dr. Max Bergman the chief medical examiner is finally hanging up his lab coat forever. Dr. Max Bergman played by Masi Oka plays a big role in the show. He plays the role of an examiner who uses his medical expertise to help McGarret (Alex O'Loughlin) and Danny (Scott Caan) in solving crimes.

 Max was known to be less emotional because he thinks things logically, but we will see a different Max on his last episode. According to the TV Guide they were trying to reach on Oka for what are his reasons on his decision to finally leave after six and a half seasons of being in the show. Masi said that he live in Japan and work in LA but the show shoots in Hawaii and he is never getting younger.

Although, Masi was so grateful because he can still come back to the show because the writer doesn't want Masi's character to be kill. Instead, Masi's character is heading to Africa to live a life with his new wife Sabrina played by Rumer Willis. The story was Masi suggested to Peter who is the writer to let his character got killed so that it can help raise the ratings of the show, but Peter leaves it open for Masi to come back anytime if he wanted to. Hence, the TV Line confirmed that on the 13^th episode of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will be Oka's final appearance as Dr. Max Bergman the medical examiner.

Alex O'Loughlin as McGarret also hinted that the eight season would probably his last. This will affect their rating for sure because McGarret is one of the main characters but the writer said that the show must go on even without their stars. What will be the outcome of the show whenever this two stars would finally left.
