John Legend Joins NBC’s ‘The Voice’ Season 12 As Adam Levine’s Adviser In The Highly Acclaimed Singing Competition

NBC's reality competition "The Voice" has officially announced the music industry's superstars to serve as advisers for its upcoming 12th season as it returns in February. One of these music superstars who will be joining "The Voice" season 12 is John Legend.

After the release of his album "Darkness and Light" in December Including his singles "Penthouse Floor" and "Love Me Now", Grammy winner John Legend is joining "The Voice" as an advisor. The 38-year-old singer has been selected to serve as the adviser of coach Adam Levine's team.

According to United Press International, the news arises just after Adam Levine's fellow coach Gwen Stefani appeared on the Today show to publicize that she had enlisted Céline Dion as her team's trusted adviser. Both music superstars will help guide their teams through the important Battle rounds.

After their interview, Celine Dion immediately let her fans know that she was very excited to help Stefani's team and even shared a pic of the two powerhouse divas, via tweeter. Celine Dion will join Stefani, before getting back in her own coach's chair, who was then an adviser to boyfriend Blake Shelton's team for season 10.

Moreover, Country star Luke Bryan will be teaming up with friend Shelton. Bryan and Shelton have worked together in the past. Wherein three years in a row, 2013 to 2015 the two country stars cohosted the Academy of Country Music Awards, says US Weekly.

Lastly, the first-time fathers, John Legend together with Adam Levine, will be working together. In April, Legend welcomed his daughter Luna with model Chrissy Teigen, while in September, Levine and model Behati Prinsloo also welcomed their daughter Dusty Rose. Wherein at various events including the Grammys and Academy Awards, have hung out in the past with their wives.

Season 12 of the reality competition "The Voice" will be featuring Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Gwen Stefani as coaches, and premiere on February 27. The superstar advisers will be having their appearance during the Battle Rounds.
