Criticism seems to follow each and every member of the Trump family. If President Trump's election or his Wife Melania's controversial photo on the Vanity fair magazine cover wasn't enough, It is Ivanka Trump, the first daughter's turn. She has been blasted for being "Inhuman" after showing up in a super expensive designer dress. Her lavish show off comes at a time when many people are left stranded at the US airports due to president Trump's executive decision of not letting Muslim immigrants enter America.

According to The Sun, Ivanka Trump along with her husband Jared Kushner was on the way to attend a swanky dinner party at Washington DC. Before that, they were pictured together with Ivanka wearing a $5000 metallic silver hued gown. This lavish show off has been slammed by many on various social media platforms, terming it "Insensitive".

On Friday, Donald Trump issued an executive order refraining Muslim immigrants from seven countries to enter America for the next 90 days. He also banned refugees from entering the USA including women and children for the next 120 days. This has caused a major outrage among the people of America and all over the world. Protests involving celebrities are being held outside airports all over America condemning the "Inhuman" decision taken by the new president.

Ivanka Trump had reportedly posted the picture on Instagram and Twitter while attending the annual Alfalfa Club dinner on Saturday night. The prestigious dinner is very popular among the top political leaders of the country and has been attended by every president since Ronald Reagan, although as per sources, Donald Trump could not attend the occasion given his call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. A number of people along with renowned celebrities like Oscar-winning actress Cher tweeted responding to Ivanka's snap, calling it ill-judged and unnecessary.

According to The Telegraph, Ivanka Trump has not yet deleted the picture but as per an unconfirmed source, she "feels terrible and does not want something like this to happen again." It is also being speculated that the couple, both of whom are Jews by religion, had been observing a ritual called Sabbath which sees them cutting themselves off any kind of technology for one whole day. This may have been the reason for Ivanka not taking down the picture despite the criticism coming in from all quarters.

Unlike her father, Ivanka Trump has always preferred to stay away from controversies. The mother of three projects herself as a simple woman looking after her family. She also speaks of women empowerment and considers her children the first priority.

The "Gowngate", as the Muslim-banning incident is being called, is one of the most controversial decisions ever made by an American President. By banning Muslim entry, Donald Trump has added fuel to the already flaring outrage against his election. Considering the need of the hour, Ivanka and the whole Trump family needs to be more conscious, sensible and sensitive.
