The Picasso rare collection valued at $9.3 million is currently being offered for private sale by the Canadian born, British-based art collector Dr. Frederick Mulder. The sale is said to include 121 original artwork by Picasso allegedly shelved for years. Moreover, another rare illustrated Picasso ceramic slate was sold in an auction.

Mulder already revealed that following the sale, he would donate $1 million to an Australian grassroots non-profit organisations, The Funding Network. Note that TFN aims to create positive social change in Australia. The TFN CEO Lisa Cotton also noted that the generous donation would greatly scale their work and boost their influence.

Moreover, the Picasso portfolio of daschunds is included in The Lump Collection featuring 75 subjects, of which there are 22 extremely rare and unpublished ones. Moreover, 17 sets are also said to be of working proofs along with 49 others with variant inkings.

Note that of the 2,200 original Picasso prints, only 197 are linocuts. The collection is said to represent one fourth of the linocuts made by Picasso. The rare collection is said to come from the Archives Arnera, Hidalgo Arnera who was the young printer who Picasso collaborated though in his 10 years of linocutting. Apparently, the linocuts were only kept in drawers for more than 50 years, Visual Artshub reported.

Meanwhile a limited edition Pablo Picasso painted plate has been sold for £4, 300 at an auction at McTear's in Glasgow. The plate was marked number 47 in a run of 150. Note that the lot was previously purchased by an anonymous collector after the plate bcame the subject of a bidding war, Herald Scotland reported.

The Picasso ceramic plate, "Visage" was produced in France in 1963. Note that the white earthenware ceramic piece boasts an image of a face crafted with the trademark Picasso cubist style. On that note, Brian Clements of McTear's noted that Picasso is one of the most influential artists who ever lived. Watch a Pablo Picasso Documentary here:
