"Transformers" actor Shea LeBeouf was arrested on Wednesday for getting into an altercation with an unidentified. However, the actor has been released from the custody.

According to USA Today, Shea LeBeouf was live streaming his art installations, exhibited at the Museum of Moving Images in Queens, New York when the incident took place. It was an anti-Trump protest through art and was conducted as an interactive session. The actor was chanting "He will not divide us" into the camera protesting the presidential rule of Trump. Though the proper reason for the altercation is yet to be revealed, it is being said that the charges for misbehavior were lodged against the actor when he pulled the scarf off the yet-to-be-identified 25-year-old person. As per Police, LeBeouf abraded the face of the person though no medical attention was sought. It is also unclear whether the actor has retained an attorney to counter the charges made by the police.

This is not the first time that Shea Lebeouf is arrested for disorderly behavior. Before this, he was arrested for getting drunk and lighting a cigarette in the theater showing "Cabaret". Shea was evidently pretty aggressive during the art installation exhibit and even shoved a man who said "Hitler did nothing wrong". LeBeouf was reportedly released on Thursday before 4 am outside the 114th Percent. He photographed himself raising his hand in a two finger "rock on" gesture and waved towards a handful of his fans before shouting "We will not be divided" and hopping into a green taxi.

According to Fox News, the campaign was undertaken by Lebeouf and his two collaborators saw a camera installed in the lobby of the museum and urging the visitors to shout "He will not divide us" for as long as they wish to. They plan to do this on a 24-hour basis for the next four years. During his arrest, LeBeouf took to the same camera issuing an appeal "Hey, be nice. Everybody be nice down here, man. Just be nice! That's the only requirement. Be nice! That's all I ask. Be nice. Pro this, pro that. Cool. But be nice." Shea said.

As per Shea's clarification, the campaign undertaken is "anti-division" rather than "anti-Trump". They want the people to live undivided and not get provoked by the preaching of the white supremacists who have come to the fore ever since Trump was elected as the US president.

The incident has resulted in Shea LeBeouf facing charges of misdemeanor assault and he is due to be present in the court of law on April 4th. It will be interesting to see how Shea decides to protest here on.
