'This Is Us' News & Update: Justin Hartley Fans Will Never Guess How Jack Died!

Fan theories about Jack's passing are swirling on the internet ever since fans of the NBC show learned about Jack's death. But despite many fan theories about the how Jack passed away, Justin Hartley said that all these theories are wrong.

Justin Hartley said in an interview with Us Weekly that the fans will never guess the reason behind Jack's death. He added that it will be unexpected and extremely heartbreaking.

This Is Us has revealed that Jack died when their triplets were just teenagers in a flashback funeral scene which didn't reveal much. But it did not stop fans from coming up with different theories how the patriarch of the Pearsons family died.

The This Is Us last week's episode seems to add information to another fan theory about Jack's demise. In the scene where Randall comforted his biological father, William, as he is dying from cancer Randall was adamant that he wanted a nurse in his father's room during his passing to make sure his father didn't "die when nobody's lookin'."

According to Glamour, the statement "die when nobody's lookin'" flared an extremely popular fan theory that Jack had died alone during Rebecca's tour. With Randall's attitude which exudes guilt and anxiety, fans really believe that while Rebecca was on tour Jack had passed way.

From theories about addiction and suicide, also one of the most famous theory is Jack died in a plane crash. Evidence that supports this claim is pretty convincing from Kate being scared of flying and Kevin who destroyed all of his model planes.

But the most convincing information is from Reddit user knuckle_cracker who discovered that there was a fatal plane crash near Pittsburgh in September 1994. And Pittsburgh was where the Pearsons lived in the past that's when you can fit Kate and Kevin's aversion to planes.
