'Grey’s Anatomy' Star Jesse Williams And Wife Aryn Separate After 5 Years Of Marriage

"Grey's Anatomy" star Jesse Williams and his wife Aryn Drake-Lee are separating after almost five years of marriage. They have two children together, daughter Sadie who is three years old and one-year-old son Maceo.

The popular star, Jesse Williams, is not looking for sole custody of their children. According to various sources, it is believed that Jesse is seeking joint custody of the children with his soon to be ex-wife. 

According to the DailyMail, the two haven't been seen or photographed together for almost a year now. There is also no sign of Aryn on her husband's social media pages within last two years. It is understood that the couple has filed for divorce last week, though there is no confirmed news as to who opted for the separation first.

Jesse Williams spoke highly of his wife Aryn at the BET Awards last year where he was rewarded the Humanitarian Award. He regarded Aryn as the "change of his life". Speaking to USA Today back in 2010 Jesse said: "I was a teacher when I met her, so she's been with me through all the different facets of my career." He further stated, "She's stuck with me through thick and thin."  

According to HuffPost, Jesse Williams and Aryn Drake-Lee have been dating for more than a decade before they got married back in 2012. When Jesse Williams started dating Aryn, he was a teacher in a school in New York and was yet to land the role of Dr. Jackson Avery on the popular show on ABC.

The couple has also co-founded the "Ebroji" app; a keyboard which allows users to include various emoji's and GIFs as an option while texting. Aryn was a real estate broker when she first met Jesse Williams back in the days. The news of the separation came as a huge shock for the fans as the duo were very much a happy and perfect couple in public eyes.
